Based on each family’s diagnosis, we implement a Comprehensive Support Program focused on three main areas: health, education, and legal.
Each action is personalized and tailored to the specific needs of the family.
We work in a multidisciplinary way with the child, the caregiver, and the family. Depending on the target (child, caregiver or family), one or more support areas are developed into specific actions in a project that lasts from 1 to 3 years.
Specialized Healthcare: Access to medical appointments, specialized treatments, and ongoing health monitoring (in partnership with IFF/FIOCRUZ).
Provision of milk, nutritional supplements, medication, medical supplies, and food baskets with eggs for a balanced diet.
Access to essential medical equipment such as wheelchairs and respirators to improve children’s comfort and mobility.
Social Inclusion and Interaction Activities: Recreational and educational activities during service days at Instituto Refazer. Events and initiatives that encourage social interaction, self-esteem, a sense of community, and inclusion for the children.
Comprehensive Health: Preventive care and emotional well-being support through social, psychological, medical, and nutritional services.
Empowerment and Personal Development: Educational programs that empower caregivers, focusing on life skills such as creativity, financial planning, entrepreneurship, and social-emotional development.
Social and legal support, strengthening community and family support networks and providing guidance on rights and responsibilities, aiming to restore citizenship and promote social well-being. Housing improvement initiatives to ensure safe, healthy and accessible living conditions..
